What is Debrief.AI?
Debrief.AI is a voice-first note-taking app that links your notes to your contacts. Record quick voice memos, and our AI transcribes, summarizes, and automatically associates them with your contacts. Smart notifications after calls help you capture context when it's fresh — but you can create notes anytime.
Does Debrief record my phone calls?
No, absolutely not. Debrief.AI never records your phone calls. We only record the voice debriefs you create voluntarily after a call ends. Your actual conversations remain private.
Who is Debrief.AI for?
Debrief.AI is built for professionals who have frequent phone conversations and need to remember context for follow-ups — sales reps, real estate agents, coaches, consultants, personal trainers, and anyone whose work depends on relationships.
Is Debrief.AI available on Android?
Currently, Debrief.AI is available on iOS only. Android support is on our roadmap for the future.
How It Works
How does the app know when I finish a call?
Debrief.AI uses iOS CallKit integration to detect when your phone calls end. When a call finishes, we prompt you to record a quick debrief while the conversation is still fresh in your mind.
How long should my debriefs be?
There's no strict requirement — speak naturally for as long as you need. Most users find 30 seconds to 2 minutes is enough to capture key insights. Maximum recording length is 10 minutes per debrief.
How does the AI summarization work?
Your voice recording is transcribed and then processed by AI to extract key points, action items, and important context. You get both the full transcript and a concise summary.
Can I search through my debriefs?
Yes! Debrief.AI includes semantic search, meaning you can search by meaning, not just keywords. Search 'budget concerns' to find all debriefs where money was discussed, even if you didn't use the exact words.
Privacy & Security
Is my data encrypted?
Yes. Your audio recordings are encrypted before upload and stored securely on Google Cloud Platform. We use industry-standard encryption protocols.
Do you listen to my recordings?
No. We never manually review or listen to your voice recordings. Processing is fully automated through AI.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. You can delete individual debriefs at any time, or delete your entire account and all associated data through the app settings.
Where is my data stored?
Your data is stored on Google Cloud Platform (Firebase) with servers primarily in the United States. Please see our Privacy Policy for more details.
Pricing & Billing
Is there a free plan?
Yes! The free plan includes up to 50 voice debriefs per week.
What does Pro include?
Pro removes all limits on debriefs, includes priority AI processing, advanced search features, and priority support.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription anytime through the app settings or through your Apple App Store subscriptions. You'll continue to have access until the end of your billing period.
Do you offer refunds?
Subscriptions are managed through the Apple App Store. Refund requests should be directed to Apple. We don't provide partial refunds for unused time.
