1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Debrief ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

Debrief is operated by Voicebrief. References to "we," "us," or "our" refer to Voicebrief.

2. Description of Service

Debrief is a voice-first note-taking app that links your notes to your contacts. The Service includes:

• Voice recording of your spoken debriefs (not call recordings)
• AI-powered transcription and summarization
• Organization of debriefs by contact/person
• Semantic search across your debriefs
• Action item extraction and tracking

Important: Debrief does NOT record phone calls. It only records your voice debriefs that you create voluntarily after a call ends.

3. Service Limits

The following limits apply to the Service:

• Maximum recording duration: Each individual debrief recording is limited to a maximum of 10 minutes
• Free plan limits: Up to 50 voice debriefs per week
• Paid plan limits: Vary by subscription tier as described in the app

We reserve the right to modify these limits at any time with reasonable notice to users.

4. User Accounts

To use Debrief, you must create an account using Google Sign-In or Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

5. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Debrief only for lawful purposes. You must not:

• Use the Service to record conversations without proper consent where required by law
• Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without authorization
• Share your account with others or allow unauthorized access

6. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Key points:

• Your audio recordings are encrypted
• We do not listen to your recordings
• You own your data and can delete it at any time
• We use AI services to transcribe and summarize your debriefs

7. Subscription and Billing

Debrief offers free and paid subscription plans. By subscribing to a paid plan:

• You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through the app
• Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods

8. Intellectual Property

The Debrief app, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Voicebrief and protected by intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of the content you create (debriefs, recordings, notes). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of AI transcriptions or summaries
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the Service will meet all your requirements

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Voicebrief shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service immediately ceases
• You may request export of your data before account deletion
• We may delete your data after a reasonable period

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
