Linking Your Debriefs to Contacts
One of Debrief.AI's most powerful features is the ability to link your voice notes to contacts from your phone. This creates a personal relationship memory for every person in your network.
Why Link to Contacts?

How to Link During Recording
- After recording your debrief, tap "Select Contact"
- Search for the contact name in the search bar
- Tap the contact to select them
- Confirm your selection
The debrief is now permanently linked to that contact.
How to Link After Recording
Already recorded but forgot to link? No problem:
- Go to your Timeline
- Find the debrief you want to link
- Tap the contact icon (person silhouette)
- Search and select the appropriate contact
Creating New Contacts
If the person isn't in your contacts yet:
- Tap "Create New Contact" at the bottom of the search
- Enter their name (required)
- Add phone number or email (optional)
- Tap Save
The contact will be saved to your phone and linked to the debrief.
Viewing All Debriefs for a Contact
- Go to the Contacts tab
- Search or browse for the person
- Tap their name to see all linked debriefs
- Scroll through their complete conversation history
💡 Best Practice: Link debriefs immediately after recording for better accuracy. It only takes 2 seconds but makes a huge difference for organization.
